Jewlery Magnets
I read about these magnets in Southern Living Magazine. The article said to use a broach, I found one at a local Goodwill. When later I spotted these earrings at a flea market at $2 for the three pairs, I couldn't resist! Thinking that they would make great B-day gifts for my girlfriends. They are very pretty, it's kinda' like having bling for your fridge! I love when fashion meets function! Plus they were so easy to do!
What you will need:
Broach or earrings
Strong magnets
super glue
First of all you have to find a broach and or earrings (clip-ons seem to work the best) to use. Flea markets seem to have great deals! I found the extra strength magnets at a craft store, and you can find super glue about anywhere.
I started by taking the back clips off the jewelry. I pulled them off carefully with my hands.
Then you glue the magnets onto the backs, and let them set until completely dry. I waited a whole 24hrs.
The glue when dries, leaves a white residue. Make sure to wipe it off before putting it on your fridge, or giving them away! I hope you enjoy these, I love mine!
